How to place and order: 

First email photos to photo@ptd.net  or you can send hard copies through the mail to Jeanna Nelis, 1459 Jakes Place, Hellertown, PA 18055. Hard copies will be returned.

In your email please let me know if you would like just a head-shot of your pet or a body shot. I will also need to know if you would like the existing background painted or if you would like me to paint an abstract background. See background page for more information

Then please go to the order page to choose your size portrait and order it.

Sending Photos:

Please send the best quality photos you can. I prefer a resolution of 300 dpi or a file size of 1MB. If the quality of the photo is poor, I will not be able to see details such as fur type and color.

Types of payments accepted:

1. Check made out to Jeanna Nelis and sent to 1459 Jakes Place, Hellertown, Pa 18055 ( work will proceed when check is received)

2. Pay securely, with your credit card, debit card or Pay Pal account. A Painted Pet uses a Pay Pal shopping cart which is a secure and trusted online payment method. It accepts a range of credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and echeck.

Prices :

A 11" x 14" pet portrait is $499 plus a flat rate shipping cost of $15.00.

A 16" x 20" pet portrait is $599 plus a flat rate shipping cost of $15.00

**Custom sizes are available please call for pricing.

**Pricing is for one pet. Additional pets are $60 each.

You will receive a proof by email for approval before the final portrait is shipped.

If you are not happy with the finished proof, the full amount of your purchase will be returned. See below my satisfaction guarantee.

Your Proofs:

A proof will be sent to you via email. Your order will include one minor revision. If major revisions are required, I will send you an estimate.

Once you approve your proof, your portrait will be varnished and no further revisions can be made.

Can I have more than one pet in the portrait:

Yes for an additional $60 you can add another pet to your portrait. You can send a photo of each animal separately or together.

Delivery and turn around time:

The delivery time for your portrait is about four weeks. This may vary depending on the time of year. Each portrait is sent priority mail by USPS.

Please order early for Christmas, this is my busiest time of year.

Satisfaction Money Back Guarantee:

Your happiness with your portrait is of major concern to me. I know how important your pet is to you. That is why I offer proofs and revisions to your proofs, to make sure that you are satisfied with your pet portrait. Customer satisfaction is important to me, so if you are not happy with your proof after revisions a full refund of your money will be made. Once you approve your proof, no changes or refunds will be possible.

About the painting process:

Your pet portrait will be painted using a digital painting technique. This means that I will be using a sophisticated computer program and stylus pen to paint by hand, stroke by stroke the painting of your pet.

The painting is then professionally printed, stretched and varnished. It will come to you ready to hang.

Can I frame my portrait:

Although I do not do framing the sizes I choose to paint are standard sizes. I do this so you can buy a ready-made affordable frame.

Do you offer gift certificates:

Yes please just order the size of portrait you would like. Deposit and final payment will be due.

Then send by email to jnelis@APaintedPet.com who the gift certificate is for, and who it is from. A customized gift certificate will be sent to the recipient with directions on how to redeem the gift certificate.
